Pilot Schools - a new approach
There are Springboard pilot programmes running in four schools at present:
- Bar Hill Community Primary School, Cambridgeshire
- Marown School, Isle of Man
- The Vine School, Cambridgeshire
...and a Home Education Group meets regularly to follow the programme.
An evaluation of the programme at two of the current pilots is being undertaken by Manchester University, and the summary of their first report was music to the ears of the teachers and headteachers involved!
The summary of their second year report shows the important progress made by the teachers and children in the last year.
We are keen to hear from other schools who may be interested in running a pilot.
